June 20-21: Arch
Canyon
west of Blanding. Camping and ‘wheeling. This will be a one night trip with
a fun filled day of sightseeing and exploring Anasazi cliff dwellings.
Plan is to leave Montrose around 7:00 Saturday the 20th. Drive to Arch
Canyon west of Blanding UT and do some wheeling and looking around. Have a
cookout there in the canyon and then head back to Blanding and stay in a
motel. Then come home Sunday. Maybe hit a few off shoot roads on the way
home.
June 21: Rattlesnake
Canyon.
RC (radio controlled) rock crawling challenge. Contact Carl for
more information.
July 4. Ouray. So we have a plan for the 4th. Ouray
Parade @ 10:00. Let's plan on meeting in Ouray Saturday morning the 4th
around 9:00 or so at the pool. Then we'll move up to the starting place for
the parade. After the parade let's go 4-wheeling. Maybe Imogene or
Poughkeepsie Gulch or something. We can decide that later when we see what
all is open. Then, whoever wants to stay in Ouray for the fireworks,
can. The rest of us are all invited to Terry Raven's house for a BBQ, games,
and fireworks. He's got horseshoes, croquet, tag, and hide and
seek......O.K. not sure about the last two but hey, it is out in
the country. Bring your drinks and your meat of choice. He'll have chips and
other goodies.
If you would like to go to Terry's, let him know. Please RSVP by June 30th.
July 6 Monthly Meeting at the Montrose Fire Station #2,
65960 Racine Road, Montrose. Meeting Starts at 7:00.
July 24-26: Stoney Pass overnight trip with Jeepers
Creepers from Durango.
August 8-14: Rubicon. Contact Perry if you are planning
on going.
August 22-24: Holy Cross trail near Leadville.
Labor Day Weekend: Moab
Just a Rubicon note from Perry
It's time for me to make the reservations and plans for the trip to the
Rubicon. I'm going to call the place in Tahoe on May 2nd. This will give
anyone who doesn't check their e-mails regularly, a chance to get back with
me.
For those of you who are going, please e-mail me back as to how many folks
will be coming with you so I can get the rooms accordingly.

These are the for sure going.
So whoever else wants to go, let me know by May 2nd and I'll take care of
the arrangements
Just in case you forgot the dates.
Leave Montrose on August 8th and return on the 14th.
4 nights in motels, 2 nights primitive camping.

Meetings
The meeting are held every other month on the first Monday of the
month. The meetings start at 7:00. The location has been
bouncing around a little bit
lately. Check your email for the current location
or if you are a prospective member just shoot us an email to
wildbunch@bresnan.net.
There have been a few last minute trips that I did not get a chance to post
here. Remember to check your email on a regular basis. As always
if you take
pictures make sure and get them to me so I can get them on the web. If
we get to the end of the year and your picture is nowhere to be seen on the
good
ol WB4X4 then that is nobody's fault but your own.
